Unlock a boat and new destinations, then obtain licences to expand your venues. Progress the investigations into Thaddeus and Ava alongside them.

Mission Seafaring Walkthrough

| 1 | Visit Salt Pete After Ava contacts you on Day 3 or later, go to the docks and talk to Salt Pete at the fish shop. |
| 2 | Board the boat and visit a new district Talk to Karel Crabface Jones at the dock and board. Use the helm to sail. After discovering another district, report to Salt Pete. |
Seafaring's treasure hunt continues after you obtain transport. To prioritise the story, switch to another quest in the Journal.
Unlock more destinations
Achievement points are earned through quests and discoveries and unlock districts. They are separate from inspiration points for recipes and from venue levels.
Mission A Hacker's Guide to Exploring Nivalis Walkthrough
| Step | What to do |

| 3 | Talk to Kai Galosh in Eastern Residential Ava introduces this after the tutorial on Day 3 or later. Ask about travel restrictions. |
| 4 | Earn achievement points through exploration and quests Complete quests, meet merchants, eat out, grow crops, fish and discover graffiti. Remember to report to Kai. |
If a destination is locked, select it on the travel map to check the achievement-point requirement. After visiting once by taxi, train or boat, you can fast travel there from the map.
Obtain a Tier 1 business licence
Tier is the licence category required to rent another venue, separate from the venue level earned through operation. Each contract uses one matching licence, with an initial fee and daily rent as additional costs.
Mission Business Empire Walkthrough

| 5 | Ask Agent Teleshko about Brooke This is available after the tutorial, usually from Day 4. Meet Teleshko and check Ava's instructions. |
| 6 | Talk to Brooke Hazard in Lowtown After hearing about the licence, report to Teleshko. Revisit Brooke to tell him about the transfer. |
| 7 | Rent a Tier 1 venue and talk to Banor Review a candidate property such as Boat Hangar. Check the Tier 1 licence, initial fee and rent on the contract screen, then choose Rent. Once it appears in your venue list, talk to Banor about expanding the business. |
Progress Teleshko's quest conversations outside curfew. Check your current objective rather than assuming you need to rent every candidate venue at once.
Obtain a Tier 2 business licence

| 8 | Visit Lily Nightingale on Teleshko's recommendation When the next instruction appears, go to Lowtown. Lily asks for cocktail ingredients. |
| 9 | Collect three ingredients Prepare 1 Liquid Nitrogen, 1 Vodka and 1 Cherries. Buy liquid nitrogen from the chemical merchant at the Spaceport, vodka from a drinks merchant and cherries from a farmer, then deliver them to Lily. |
| 10 | Rent a Tier 2 venue Candidates include Toshigami, Fusion Point and Honeycomb. Check the Tier 2 licence, initial fee and rent on the contract screen, then choose Rent. Afterwards, use the venue panel to configure its menu and staff and prepare to open. |
Progress the story quests

| 11 | Trace Thaddeus's whereabouts Continue from Gideon's investigation to the paperwork issue and travel to Egress. This long quest intertwines with the investigation into Ava. |
| 12 | Progress another quest while waiting While waiting for messages, manage your venues or explore. Edison's request and the investigation into the serial incidents can also be tracked separately. |
