Finish the captain's introduction, then ask Bonaventure about a sunken ship.
Walkthrough
1Look for a wreck near the oil rig
Warning:Declining permanently closes the quest. Scan the waters near the oil rig and fish up a ship nameplate for Salt Pete to translate. The final report has a failure branch.
Go to the oil rig.
2Look for traces of the wreck
Sail near the oil rig and use the scanner to find wreck clues. Approach the target, equip a fishing rod from your inventory and fish up 1 ship nameplate.
Controls and steps
- Open your inventory, select the fishing rod and equip it.
- Cast into the water from the designated bank or boat, then follow the on-screen prompts to reel the fish in.
Check:Check the requested species or item and quantity in your inventory. The fish guide also lists fishing conditions.
3Tell Ava what you've found.
Check with Ava.
4Talk to Salt Pete
Talk to Salt Pete and advance this quest's dialogue.
5Return to Bonaventure
Talk to Bonaventure and advance this quest's dialogue.
